When does your team rotate in a volleyball game?

The team that wins the point serves next. When the serving team wins a point it gains the right to serve again and gets one point. The game continues until one team either reaches 25 points or more or if both teams are tied at 24 points until one team wins two points in a row.

When the serving team loses a point it must rotate one player clockwise. The player who was in the back left position moves to the front left position the player in the front left moves to the front right and so forth. The player who was in the front right position moves to the back right position where he or she will serve next.

The receiving team always rotates one player clockwise after each point regardless of who wins or loses the point.

The earliest your team can rotate is after your team has scored a point.
